Situated directly on the lake, the campground is nestled in the centre of a splendid morainic basin, in an oasis of peace and quiet. Here you can spend your vacation as you prefer -either in total relaxation or by filling your days with sports and entertainment. In fact, the lake offers plenty of water sports, while the surrounding area – where you will find both flatlands and mountains – offers various itineraries to be explored either on your mountain-bike or on foot.
A particularly interesting cultural attraction is the town of Piverone which was historically at the midpoint of the Via Francigena – the ancient road between Canterbury and Rome – a fully documented testimony of ancient civilizations. Today you can stroll along the streets of this town to see the remains of the ancient fortified village. The Val d’Aosta is also nearby, brimming with opportunities for mountain excursions and visits to the countless castles of the valley and the Canavese area.
